They are known as MENAS, Unaccompanied Foreign Minors. They have fled war, violence, misery. In 2013, more than a thousand came knocking at the doors of our country. Helped up to the age of 18, dreams, plans, studies are shattered when they receive orders to leave the land.
“Such A Long Story” portrays seven young people, teetering on the brink between childhood games, adolescent dreams and adult fears. Because, at 18, you’re no longer a child. And without papers, you’re no longer anything. You don’t exist anymore.
